Melissa Ortega is an aspiring author, Sunday school teacher, and mother. She spent the last decade working for the United States Senate and now works within an association that supports health care services for those in need. Her favorite job, however, has been listening to her daughter, London. She and her husband, Nathan, who met at Life Pacific University, have worked as children's pastors, youth pastors, and associate pastors, and all around pastor-picker-uppers. Her passions include supporting God's shepherds, mentoring young writers, inspiring a deeper passion for God's Word in younger generations, archery, Welsh history, and, you know, finding the Place where all the beauty comes from. Her family lives with their improbable dog, Stitch, and clueless cat named Chloe.
